MMETTI took off with the entire necessary infrastructure with fifty students in its maiden batch in October 2004. In MMETTI the teacher trainees have been given all the opportunities to its optimum level so that they become perfect teachers at the end of the second year. The institute has rendered all the possible support and assistance keeping in mind the changing scenarios as well as the curriculum syllabus issued by concerned authorities.

The faculties in this institute are very competent and efficient with proven academic background and experience. They were given special training at a workshop conducted by SCERT for duration of three days, which enhanced their professional efficiency. High profile resource persons from various fields and senior teachers have demonstrated few model classes based on new methods of teaching.

Apart from comprehensive training for academic excellence, cultural and physical training activities were also imparted in order to achieve high perfections in the performance of all trainees. The institute has made its presence felt in the TTI competitions at district level winning many prizes in sports and cultural field and also in the TTI youth festival. In order to develop the communicative competencies of the trainees, we have introduced programs like seminars, panel discussions and public speaking etc.
